I almost hate going to wunderground now for anything, but at least I found model projections for #TSFranklin. Looks like it's probably going to stay offshore as it heads north to NNE. Good. #tropicalWeather #NCwx https://www.wunderground.com/hurricane/atlantic/2023/tropical-storm-franklin?map=model
@jhv hang on now.... what's the beef with wunderground? I gotta know.
@PresGas After "The Weather Company" (IBM) bought it, it started going downhill. People quit, & they started dropping services. It's a shell of what it used to be. I understand that IBM sold it off a couple days ago, so maybe they'll improve the place, but I doubt it.
It hurts me. I used them since it was a telnet-based service at UMich. I subscribed too, & paid not to see ads. Now they generally suck out loud, IMO.
@jhv Yeh, but they still are one of the better ones in spite of it. I have tried to use NOAA, but it is aging badly. Darksky got empraced/reduced/extinguished by .
What is your weather URL "go to" then?
@PresGas Don't have one. :(
