I saw these GIANT ONIONS (purple flowers) and looked everywhere for them. Stopped at a charity garden sale on the weekend and was able to buy some! Tres Cool!
The best way to see things, is still on foot.
Sidewalks, where available, just END, suddenly.
Use the trail system, it weaves in and out and around town.
And you see cool stuff along the way

We were just on the outskirts of everything. Southgate RV Park was basic, packed in tight, an LNG factory behind us made regular venting sounds 24/7. Highway noise started by 6 am.
We weren't there for Campground features, they met our needs. As intended.
Spent all our time with my daughter, and grandson but we had to return here each night and often had the early morning free to explore on our own.

I covered 6 miles at dawn, only to repeat it again on my wife's walk.
Later, from Mt. Sequoyah, we look back the other way
Usually it is dark, when I begin my morning walks. We still didn't see a live Armadillo & I hoped I might before first light.

Arriving the night before, there was howling, lightning & thundershowers, but no tornadoes.
We surprised my daughter, met our grandson & spent all possible time with them. (no photos)
For the week we had booked, we still had daily walks, and times when family was busy. Then we explored Fayetteville, #Arkansas

It's going to take my mind a long time to change over from Ft. Bragg to Ft. Liberty, but it's totally worth it. #NorthCarolina #USArmy #FtBragg #FtLiberty #Fayetteville https://abc11.com/fort-bragg-liberty-army-name-change/13330009/
