Last Friday, this coyote had plenty of rabbits and birds to consider but instead wanted to check us out. Hope everyone can find the good in this week! #SacramentoWildlifeRefuge #Coyote #Fujifilm #SOoC

The air quality is poor, but it gives a great texture to the city. Part 2.

What luck at the refuge today! Among many others, we were treated to Northern Flickers, an Egret feasting on a crawdad, a really tame() coyote, and a gorgeous Pheasant #NorthernFlicker #Egret #Coyote #CommonPheasant #Birds #BirdWatching #SacramentoWildlifeRefuge #Fujifilm #SOoC
I knew I forgot something. Dogwood began to bloom today, not yet impressive. Still #TGIF
We made it through another week #TGIF .
It's still very sunny and warm, but rain/storm is coming this weekend. We'll see if we can squeeze in walk time... For now, we enjoy our flowers in the yard. Have a good evening and a great weekend, everyone.
Only a scattered rain earlier as I was driving home, but not now. It looks like a heavier rain is now saved for the weekend, drats.
Some goofy Kengo faces, and truly the last photos of our magnolia (I promise) more discreetly tucked away. One more day.
“Young amethyst deceiver”
Amethyst deceiver is a small brightly colored mushroom.
Because its bright amethyst coloration fades with age and weathering, it becomes difficult to identify, hence the common name “deceiver”.
This tiny one (around 2 centimeters tall) is far from deceiving the viewer.
