Hey folks,

My non-blog week continues. Earlier, I made some progress on the end project for my #pyrography mini-course (the dragon outline).

I have a lot left to do on it, but it took me two attempts to burn an outline I wasn't completely dissatisfied with.

I'm now currently proofreading some of my fiction-writing. But my #Fibro pain is still really high, so I'll end up in a game soon.

A snapshot of my woodworking table, which is FAR too small. On it I have a coaster that says "There is always a way" in english and in one of my invented languages. Behind that is a Celtic-knot practice piece and an outline of a dragon that will form my project to end my pyrography mini-course.

Another pattern design is in the works. I clearly have an obsession with all-over mosaic shawls. Sorry, not sorry.

Two-color mosaic shawls are one of the best uses of those rando single skeins you have no idea what to do with.

Yarn is Quince & Co Finch in Crow and The Farmer’s Daughter Fibers Rocky Mountain Purls in Queen Anne’s Lace.

So sieht das aus @blauschrift , wenn ich mir selbst Skizzenbücher binde. Ich mag es total gerne ganz verschiedene Papiere in einem Buch zu haben. Meistens ist das für mich ein Mix aus getöntem Papier, Transparenzpapier, Aquarellpapier, Bristol, Mixed Media und wenn ich habe alte Buchseiten aus Büchern die ich an der Straße gefunden habe und die damit ein 2. Leben bekommen.

Aufgeschlagene Seite eines der Skizzenbücher auf der braunes Papier zu sehen ist auf dem eine Art Feuergreif gemalt ist. Weitere Weiten des aufgeschlagenen Buches zeigen weitere unterschiedliche Papierseiten
Meine liebsten Seiten. Eine Seite ist getöntes graues Papier, auf der Elliot Anderson als Portrait zu sehen ist und die darüber liegende Pauschpapier oder transparentes Papierseite mit Mr. Robot. Mr. Robot ist noch immer eine meiner liebsten Serien! So viele wundervolle Easter Eggs und die Story is einfach *chefs kiss*
Mehr aufgeschlagene Seiten die die Papiervarianz des Skizzenbuches zeigen. Zu sehen ist ein ernst schauendes Huhn auf braunem Papier gemalt in Gouache.

J'ai une question broderie et casquette

J'ai une casquette que j'aime beaucoup et j'aimerai faire une broderie dessus
Idéalement, j'aimerai faire la broderie sur le devant de celle-ci, la partie frontale
A cet endroit, le tissu est doublé. Il y a le tissu extérieur, et le tissu intérieur, plusse épais et plusse rigide

Est-ce que il y a une technique pour faire ma broderie sur le tissu extérieur, sans découdre les deux couches ?
Est-ce que y'a une autre solution a laquelle je pense pas ?
Sinon, est-ce que je fais de la broderie à travers les deux couches de tissu ?

J'ai la solution de broder sur les cotés, où y'a qu'une seule épaisseur de tissu, mais je préfère explorer l'idée de l'avoir sur le devant, ce qui est ma solution pref 🙂
