@britt I can recommend busuu, as i use it myself for Italian for about a month. The community to correct texts and audio recordings is really useful. Another interesting course might be the audio course following the thinking method https://www.languagetransfer.org/free-courses-1#german As well simple bilingual literature like this https://amira-lesen.de/#book=18&p=1 , i recommend as well the "easy german" channel on yt, try the app A1 deutschtrainer from #learninggerman #deutschlernen.
