I absolutely love using for incident management. I don’t think any of the team are on mastodon, but the product is top notch and so are the folks behind it.

@rebelopsio I was looking at their site a while back but haven’t given it a try yet. Any features that are particularly awesome? Been intrigued.

@steveyackey if you've not used a similar tool, the idea of bringing the incident management process to where people are at (slack) is highly beneficial. What I like about Rootly over others I have used is the ability to build on that same idea with a vast amount of plugins. This allows us to create a workflow that fits our use instead of feeling like we are changing to fit a tool. Rootly has a two week trial, I would recommend checking it out.

@rebelopsio that’s awesome! Yeah, I’ve definitely felt the “changing to fit the tool” in some others haha. Whenever a tool is like, “leave Slack, declare your incident, and then make a Slack channel from our tool, then add to the timeline from our Slack plugin”, it leaves me wondering why I can’t just do all that from their Slack plugin 🤣. Rootly seems pretty awesome.
