Elephanticide

On the side of the deconsecrated church of Sant'Antonin in Castello, there is something which looks like an odd bricked up opening, but it doesn't really look like a window nor a doorway.

The opening was made on March 16th, 1819, with the permission of the Patriarch, because of a slight problem with an elephant.

Beep beep beep! Is that the sound of the Apple TV+ money truck backing up to Jason Sudeikis's house? It must be, because the "Ted Lasso" star/co-creator has just confirmed a fourth series of the hit show. He told Jason and Travis Kelce on their New Heights podcast that Ted would be coaching a women's team this time round. Producers Warner Bros. TV picked up options for Hannah Waddingham (Rebecca), Brett Goldstein (Roy Kent) and Jeremy Swift (Leslie Higgins) last year in anticipation of the renewal, while Juno Temple (Keeley) and Brendan Hunt (Coach Beard) are in negotiations to return. A new series of "Black Mirror" will arrive on Netflix next month. @Variety has a trailer and some details on what to expect, including the first ever sequel from the anthology series — Cristin Milioti and other key characters from Season 4's "USS Callister" will be back. An update on the deaths of Oscar-winning actor Gene Hackman and his wife, pianist Betsy Arakawa. Arakawa died from hantavirus pulmonary syndrome, a virus often found in rodents, and Hackman died around a week later due to "hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease with Alzheimer's disease as a significant contributory factor," NBC News reports.

Legit my favourite character and actor in Si Jin right now. He's carrying the entire show on his little furry shoulders, I swear.

I thought I'd like #SiJin right off the bat for Zhang Wanyi reasons, but alas, the first episode was a mess because the editing was a mess and the writers or director thought it wasn't necessary to establish our characters in the first episode. Instead, we were shown a cascade of events that made our heads spin. We weren't given any anchor to really care for the characters.

I think if it was set up like Blossom, whose writers lovingly set up our characters in such a way that we're invested in their second lives, I would've been kinder.

I'll give it a few more episodes...but I'm having trouble focusing lol
