people are comfortable with paying so much per month for Netflix, Spotify etc. for example, if we could instead slowly get them to pay that to creators using #peertube or making #ccmusic, we encourage more of that work, make content available to all, help culture be more independent of pressures to conform and help lessen the concentration of wealth. journalism unencumbered by ads & media owners (coupled with decent civics education) would be great for democracy.

I'm delighted to report that I seem to have found a new #PeerTube home for my audiovisual activities, rare as they may be 😊

So in the following weeks I'll move my various clips and stuff to rankett.net and see what happens (one round of fluffy horse foal pictures for everyone, should one of the videos get 50+ views ;-))
