Ok, what is really important here, is that this is not a government organization. This is a private nonprofit with congressional funding. Elons brown shirts broke into a private building, and Trump threw the board out...none of which is in the executive mandate. DC cops watched, but as far as I can tell from reporting, did nothing to stop the marauding band of techbros.

Today the Institute of Peace, tomorrow CREW, Planned Parenthood, the United Nations? Just how far are we willing to let a few dozen madmen destroy the country?

K-9 bomb sniffer dog units have become the latest victims of the so-called Department of Government Efficiency, just as the White House celebrated a national day honoring the heroic animals.

Workers at the TSA were informed via email that “new guidance” meant that requests for costs including vet visits, kenneling and dog food, had been put on hold effective immediately

The developments comes hours after President Donald Trump reposted a picture of himself with a now-deceased dog to mark National K-9 Veterans Day.

If the best case happens you make preparations and nothing happens and you have a larger savings and better understanding of the process. If the worst case happens you have an extra few days/weeks worth of savings to live off of and either an understanding of your job marlet or even a few leads that are developing that might lead to a job.So stop asking if you should because we all should. It doesn't hurt you to be prepared and may save you a lot of heart ache if you end up needing it.

Because Mar-a-Lago, in Palm Beach, straddles the width of the barrier island, police boats with machine guns mounted on the bows patrol the Intracoastal while a Coast Guard vessel is stationed off the beach in the Atlantic. Additional costs include law enforcement and explosive-sniffing dogs.

Veterans don’t need healthcare, and old people can die, as long as Donny can golf and Elon can do ketamine.

Has the hate always been there?

So my dad was a USPS employee for my entire life. And I realize they are a bit different in the usual federal employee but because of him I always thought federal employment was important work. I also had a couple of relatives who worked on different federal fields and they weren’t rich but were comfortable and never seemed to be hated. Now I feel admitting being a federal employee .. especially to my agency seems to open me up to be hated.I just saw tonight someone saying they worked 60+ hours as a federal employee in a post .. and saw a reply saying “well since most of your colleagues work 20 hours …..”. I know no one who only works 20 hours on my team .. even people who I know have FMLA leave and possibly could if needed. Is there lazy people. Sure. But I worked in the private sector for many years as well and there are plenty of lazy people everywhere. But I’ve never seen harder workers or more passionate workers since moving to federal. I just don’t understand the hate. Edit: Just want to say to this day my dad was the hardest working man I’ve ever known. His minimum week was 6 10 hour days. .. during busy parts of the year it was 7 12 hour days. .. which of course was the most the government would allow. But he took every hour they offered… until he couldn’t anymore. There was not a lazy bone in this man’s body and it pisses me off when people offer otherwise.

If #Trump closes #NOAA then who’s gonna notify Americans when severe weather is coming their way? The National Weather Service (Falls under NOAA)
is the agency that issues severe weather alerts and warnings.

#Trump policies will kill Americans during severe weather outbreaks. Especially those #MAGA run states in the Southeast.

#DonnieDictator will be whining about the National Weather Service when Mar-a-Lago gets hit by a tornado.
