@brucelawson whisper can't just transcribe, it also can put out SRT-Files which you can import in Programms like davinci resolve to add closed captions in the video file (which time stamps and everything)!
Saved my ass some days ago. But even though it's actually quite good, you still need to (and should anyway) check the output for errors.

Something that'd be super cool is if streamers and YouTubers and people involved in closed captioning and transcription networked more closely with each other.
So, this project is called the Open Steno Project. It's a volunteer-run group that produces software, educational material, etc., in order to bring down the costs of stenography equipment, technology, and education. I love this project with all my heart.

I want to watch Poker Face, which I believe is streaming on Peacock; but I can't find any info on whether it has audio description. I found that Triangle of Sadness also doesn't have description. The Academy should require that, in order to be nominated, films should be accessible.
I've been working on an #android side project for on-device podcast transcription using the open source library Vosk.

I want to suggest:
1) to set the #CreativeCommons license on the YouTube channel so that it's automatically set to all videos (to increase sharing)
2) to set the permission for watchers to contribute with new #subtitles or #captioning translations (to increase video accessibility without increasing your workload)
